A few months back Robin Linden (I think it was, or maybe Andrew) said that they were improving the internal scriptability of land sales and reclamation of abandoned land, and indicated that there would be a mechanism to allow for adjacent land owners to get "first refusal" on small abandoned parcels. Is there anything happening with this?
(this also ties in with Ceera Murukami's question)

That was an idea I mentioned as part of a brainstorm in the forums. While it would be possible to implement such a feature there are no concrete plans to do it yet. I still think it is a good idea, so I'd love to do it when I get the chance. I've been trying to get back to the automatic system for processing abandoned land becuase it needs some more work, but I've been too busy doing other (Very Important) stuff lately. When I do get back to it I'll be sure to examine the possibility of this feature more closely.
