Hi

I've just logged in to 1.10.4(4) for the first time. I couldn't believe it when I realised that I can no longer fly around the sim where I have two plots of land because someone thought it would be a good idea to increase the height of the protected areas of land... I flew up to 237m (above the clouds) and could still see "NO ENTRY" splashed all over in front of me... I daren't look to see how high this goes!

When I fly from my land to a friends I now keep getting "Man-Hole Theatre 1. Can't enter parcel, not on access list" with "Buy Pass" in green all over my screen...

The area where I reside is now practically full of invisible walls as high as I can fly unaided (at least) and a complete nightmare to navigate.

One particular neighbour used to help us maintain a path through the region but then decided to take away the path on their land and make it all "NO ENTRY" but now they're blocking us moving around freely... this is a bad idea and should be lowered back to where it was immediately in my opinion.

What about all the people who had builds protected down low and then public spaces above? This is no longer practical... It was bad enough before but now it's a nightmare!

I've just read Eltee Statosky's post on the subject and I agree... make this super-wall valid for ban-lists, but not as a simple no-access

Things like this, I highly recommend talking to Michi Lumin--she is a fountain of knowledge of these topics, both empirically and theoretically.

Other SL Answers threads also have similar grains.

Totally understand what you mean, Landing--happened to me in a jet plane today! ACK! Was like bumper cars in the sky. :\

I've replied here too:

We're going to continue to investigate the issues, including the visibility of ugly access/ban lines (personally, I've long been a fan of the Star Trek forcefield that's invisible until you touch it, but that's just an idea I'm floating).
