will you stop doing updates until you can figure it out

Look I"m a programmer and at this point the way you are running this site is ridiculous. A stupid update every Wednesday that doesn't fix ANYTHING but screws things up EVERY time. And then another download today after which I can't get in because it can't find the server domain name. This is JUST STUPID!!!!
