I found the land by my house covered with fire this morning and, in a bit of a panic, filed an abuse report. The person who did it, however, came by a few minutes after I filed the report, and cleaned up what was, according to them, an accident with a gun they were playing with.
Is there a way to cancel a filed abuse report?
Mari

Altering abuse reports after submission

I should've thought to mention this when I first posted. Residents who have provided a valid email address generally receive an acknowledgement email very quickly after filing. The subject line will begin with something like this: [rt.lindenlab.com #999999] Abuse Report Received:... As long as you don't manually modify the subject line, you can use your mail reader's "Reply" function to automatically append additional comments, including cancellation requests, to the original report. The tracking system can deal with the standard edits which mailreaders perform on replies, such as prefixing the original subject with "Re:," etc. This can also be useful if, for instance, you want to provide a lengthy chat transcript which won't fit within the body of the in-world report tool...just comment the original report with something like "transcript to follow" and then cut-and-paste the chat history into the body of your acknowledgement email and reply with it. -- teeple
