Expected downtime for maintenance tomorrow?

I'm wondering what this maintenance tomorrow is going to involve and how long it's expected to last? I like many have had enough downtime for one week, having another isn't really a hugely pleasing prospect.

I'm hoping it's to fix the sim crossing issues? Currently there is upwards of 20 second lag during sim crossings, if that's what is to be fixed then I'm all for it, but if it's anything else I'd rather see it delayed and bunbled with a sim crossing fix rather having yet more downtime please :)

It's expected to be 5 hours during the regular predictable time:

At this time we are planning on performing maintenance work in the regular weekly slot of 7:00 AM SLT/PDT to 12:00 PM SLT/PDT on Wednesday, July 26th, 2006. Second Life will be unavailable during this period.

About sim crossing issues, I heard from you, Huns Valen, and some others about it. I don't yet know of a specific problem we've identified or solution thereof, but I'll be watching. I haven't had an "upwards of 20 second lag" experience under normal conditions, but nevertheless, we'll dig deeper.
