In reading your response to Zoe's thread, I did have the foresight to try and do something as you mentioned the moment it was occurring this AM and unless there is another way....

My example in my original post since I took it's rantings out, was I was wearing a pair of prim shoes. I changed into another pair of prim shoes. Didn't strike my fancy for the day so I decided to switch back, and that's when it happened. Not the only time it's happened over the past few days (objects and images included), but just my most recent example as of this AM.

When I was starting to have the problems of things giving me the messages, I immediately went to right click on the item in my inventory to try and recover a UUID (via the copy UUID selection). But low and behold it's darkened out and not available.

So how do we keep track of UUID's on items that have suffered from this problem for you to possibly hunt down if it won't allow us to see it from our inventory?

EDIT: Yes the shoes I speak of for example are shoes I created and I have full permissions. As for the hour bit as of this AM, I don't know because I wasn't in maybe an hour before update time came around.

That little site hicup cost me a post!

Because the Asset ID offers a path to the actual asset (object/texture etc) we only let it be copied if you have the proper permissions. I'm not sure if that means you must have full permissions, or only that you need the copy permission.

For this reason I have also included in my posts that if you can not get the Asset ID you can send me the full path in your inventory to the item. For example:
My Inventory / Clothes / Cuttie / Bling Necklace of DOOM

Please for these emails also include your avatar's full name, the emails are useless to me without that.

Also, at this time I am only interested in assets which report missing once, and then report as still missing over an hour after the first occurance. We have a failsafe in place that should be restoring items as they are requested. We know some assets are failing to be found, what I need to know now is if the fail safe is failing either for your specific object or in general.

Thanks!
