Hi Jennifer,
I got your email, sorry to hear about this.

Hello!
During the Arcadia Games Expo, I bought a 10-player Multi-Boogie board from Hox Hauptman for 10,000 L. It worked pretty well, and he replaced it twice due to bugs.
He was perma-banned last month for some offense done a year before as a different alt. Robin Linden said he would not be reinstated.
During the recent "gray goo" attack, my boogie board somehow lost it's front texture. It is corrupted. Char Linden did a script reset, but this did not fix. The item is No Copy, No Mod. I cannot mod the texture back.
Hox's vendor boxes are still on Arcadia 2, and as far as I know, work fine. But I am loathe to spend ANOTHER 10,000 to buy a replacement board.
All that I ask is for some Linden to meet me at Arcadia 2, and let me give them the damaged board, and then they could get me an exact replacement from Hox's vendor. I feel this is the simplest solution to my problem... I am not out to get something for nothing, nor do anything shady. I just would like to get my board fixed without having to buy it all over again.
Please let me know if someone at Linden Lab is willing to help me?
Thank you,
Jennifer Christensen
I did talk to the person who made the textures for the game, and she will give me copies - but the game board is NO MOD - so this is useless as well. I'd be happy if a Linden would temporarily set it MOD so as to fix it that way.
On an even more fun note, I spent $L 3000 yesterday to buy the 3-player version of the game, thinking I'd never get a response from Linden Lab. I did not rez the purchase at the time, but I did see it in my Objects folder.
Guess what?
It is NOT THERE today!
I was told by a trusted source this is a bug that has been appearing for some if they buy something and do not rez it or move it to a new folder. Yay

This may sound trivial to you and most, but it is getting rather old. I'd think Linden Lab would show me the courtesy to at least talk to me about this? And I really do not understand why my original request could not be honored. I am not out to steal anyone's IP rights, I'd just like to swap my corrupted board for a working one. And since LL banned the creator, how else can I get this fixed?
Thank you, hoping for an official response and some help from LL...
Jennifer

Oh if only I'd known of this permissions exploit you are currenly patching. I could have fixed my board and the issue would be solved!
