I REALLY hate to keep beating this drum...but I am consistently reassured by many CP's/Developers that the time it takes to process credits is getting WORSE and WORSE.
With all of the "bells and whistles" being added, how about a fundemental change in the way credit processes are handled? We cannot continue to pay our employee's and support staff with the trickle of funds that are being made available. I can give hard evidence that many credits are taking 6-7 days. I am not sure where Jill is getting her information that the average is 3 days. Maybe if you factor in the $8 credit of 200K players...but what about the CP/Dev who spends $20-30K usd a year on tier fee's?
The thing that upsets me the most is that the 3.5% is taken right away, yet it takes a week to be reimbursed for an exchange order. On average I have a backlog of 5-6 credit items waiting to be processed, and once MAYBE twice a week one of them is processed. What a waste of resources and time to go in and clear ONE credit when several are pending. What is the reasoning behind this? It did not used to be this way. Is LL that strapped that they cannot afford to pay the people who make this platform what it is? Are you trying to use LL market sales to supplement credits? Given the light of recent events I would think that retention of CP's/Dev's would be of the utmost priority. If this is not addressed soon I can assure you there will be a Lindex alternative for CP's and Dev's, which will mean that the top 1-2% of fee's will be removed from LL's coffers. If the Lindex is not profitable enough to assign more emphasis and resources to it, then PLEASE say so...we'll start our own.

Hi Stroker,

The dates I use are the dates credits are requested versus the dates they are processed. Average is 3 business days however there are times that this has been shorter and yes there have been times it has gone the full 5 business days (M-Fr not including holidays).

We process credits first in, first out by date. While it may appear to a given resident that we are paying a credit here and there, the truth is we process a very high volume of credits every day. Market sells are not a factor in processing credits.

We understand, and hear you about wanting a more streamlined process. It is in our best interest as well as that of the residents to scale to meet demand, and that is something we are always working on.

Best,

Jill
