Paypal Setup

Hello,

I set up my account to be billed from paypal instead of my credit card on Sept. 19, 2006. If I go to My Account on this website it still shows my credit card info and nothing about being billed to paypal. Is this normal or did I set it up wrong?

I already emailed [email]billing@secondlife.com[/email] about this on the 19th when the page didnt update with my paypal info and I have yet to get a awnser, would be suprised if I ever get the awnser from them.

We cannot discuss the specifics of your account in the forums for privacy reasons. I searched our support tickets and am not finding any that include your avatars name. If you could PM me with the ticket number I will be happy to have a look.

A more general to set up a Paypal billing agreement:

Go to "my account" https://secondlife.com/account/
and on the right choose "Update Payment Method" https://secondlife.com/account/billing.php

On the very bottom of the page use the "continue to Paypal" button.

If you do not currently have a Paypal account, choose the option on the left and follow the steps as provided by Paypal

If you have a Paypal account, use the login on the right, agree to the terms and conditions and press "continue"

This page will show you the order the funds will be used. For US residents it should be:
Paypal Balance (US$ Balance on your SL account will supercede this if applicable)
Primary Bank Account (then secondary if on file with Paypal)
Primary Credt Card (then secondary if on file with Paypal)

Press "return to merchant" and you're set.

Linden Lab will attempt a US$1.00 authorization on the account to insure it's functional. This is not a billing.
