Estate land sales

It seems to me that the sales of estate land are so VERY deceptive.

There are two problems: one is that the L$ price in the land sales listing ISN'T the price of the land. It's often a "reservation fee", and the real price is $20, 30, or more. (that's US $) The other problem is that there is no way to filter out the estate sales from the mainland land sales, so you have to wade through way too many islands before you find a legit mainland land sale.

Does LL have plans in the works to address the pricing problem? It seems to me that estate plots should have to list the monthly rental price and the TRUE sale price in the land sales listing.

Does LL have plans in the works to allow us to filter out estate land sales in the find land for sale dialog?

Thanks.

Hey Dr--we have a project open on better filtering, titled:

Search > Land Sales: Add ability to filter between Mainland and Estates

At the latest, there's not been any development work on it (it's come up numerous times in Linden Answers), but I will surely include your feedback. Any extra Resident leverage you find, like forum posts, blog comments, Feature Voting Tool proposals, etc. all help me to advocate it. At least one is:

As for Residents advertising land on their estates, of course policy differs depending who you're dealing with--so *additionally*, it may also help to suggest to the actual sellers that what they are doing confuses you and that you find it deceptive.
