Can we get a time on when the exploit went into the code

I think it would help a great many retailer in SL to know exactly what time the "permissions exploit" hit the grid. This would let us figure out from sales records which of our products may have been compromised.

Also, many sims never got the last rolling restart before the great takedown at 2:30 AM. Does that mean content in those sims were NOT exposed to this exploit or did it happen much earlier in the day?

I realise you folks are overworked and probably going nuts trying to fix things but I think answers to these questions would go a very long way to helping retailers cope with the problems.

If you feel that someone took advantage of the permissions bug that was introduced into the code Sunday evening (and locked down Sunday night) and is selling copies of something you made without your permission, please file an abuse report. We’ll follow up with the buyer and sort out the IP rights. Also, please read Robin's Blog about this topic.

Also, it is difficult to determine which regions had the code and which didn't when the bug was identified, but yes, it was the code included in the rolling restart which contained the bug.
