Suggestion for in the event of grid attacks

It seems like a lot of people were getting rather upset by the curt responses of live help, which was flooded during the recent grid attacks.

Why not just send a grid-wide message "There is a self replicating grid attack in progress, please do not rez any unsolicited items given to you. We are aware of the issue, please do not contact Live Help about it".

Think of it like an 'air raid siren'.

Everyone logged in will be aware, won't hassle anyone, and can take preventative measures if they are at home - last time, I set all my land to 1 minute autoreturn instead of the usual 15 minute, and kept constantly hitting the 'return others objects' on my biggest piece of land to help stem the tide of replication.

Thanks Lewis, we've done that before -- sounds like this time it didn't happen (I wasn't around so I can't say), but we're working on being more consistent about communicating during emergencies. Sometimes the gridwide broadcast gets broken by strain on our servers, so we need to work on making that more dependable.
