Wasn't this supposed to be implemented in 1.7 or 1.8? I am also confused about why the newest version of Havok isn't being used.
Also why isn't the feature voting tool responded to all that often, in fact very rarely, I have some props that haven't been so much as looked at in over a year and a half. I know you are busy but how much time can looking at a few props a day take?
I have also heard that Secondlife's networking tools and system for transfering data isn't all that great is this true, and if so why hasn't that become priority.

Here's Andrew talking about Havok earlier in the year...hopefully it will explain a few things... /108/39/86645/1.html#post881905We've been very busy, yes...but not so busy that we haven't been looking at more effective ways to get feature suggestions from residents. Please stay tuned while we work to supply you with a better way to provide input. I'm afraid I can't be sure that SL's systems are "not so great" or that those which aren't, haven't been given a high "fix it!" priority. In fact, I think it's safe to assume that the techs here know exactly which systems are least likely to be referred to as great, and have naturally considered the pros and cons of putting those concerns in front of other critical issues like scaling.
