I thought the events list would be policed reegularly? It's a horrible thing now, filled with crap and yard sales.
I know, "File an abuse report," but we both know they don't work. What is the alternative?

To be frank, nim, unfortunately there isn't any current infrastructure dedicated to the Events list. The time that goes in there would be like an ARGHHH sinkhole. :\
Yeah I hope in the future we can overhaul it with something better with filters and enhanced searchability--no ETA on that and realistically further away, but the fact the problem persists every day keeps it fresh in our minds.
