Is it possible to have the new estate tools available to other officers of the land group too? Or atleast have some of the tools moved to the About Land dialog? i have to contact the sim owner to have some script functions removed from the sim. I dont get along too well with this person. Estate tools shouldnt be restricted to just 1 person. the mainland also suffers from this, with a wider margin.

Yiffy! In Second Life 1.9, coming in a few hours, there are new Estate Manager functions which can be assigned by an Estate Owner to anyone else the Owner trusts to delegate the power to on an Estate--thus widening it up from the "single person" you mention in 1.8. This is independent of someone being an officer in a group. There are little help buttons in WORLD ---> REGION/ESTATE dialog box which explain more. ^.^
Improved group functionality, speaking generally, is also planned. ^_^
