Quick question: Is a texture on the back or bottom of a visible prim treated as occluded? In other words, is occlusion culling handled by the prim, or by the prim face? Thanks!

Occlusion and frustum culling either cull the entire prim or none of it, but back face culling is on in the renderer so all backfaces (triangles facing away from the camera) are culled automatically by the graphics card to prevent overdraw.
