How long in general before missing items are restored?

About an hour after the grid opened after last week's patch, I was loading no-copy, no-transfer animations/poses onto my new HUDDLES EZ Animator. When I was done, I took it back into my inventory and tried to equip it on my HUD. I received an error message that another object was pending for that spot. After 20 minutes of this, I relogged, hoping that would resolve the issue. Instead, that copy of my animator disappeared, taking with it all those no-copy animations I had put on it. So far I have verified over 2000L worth of missing animations and poses, mostly from a single vendor. (I have IM'd her as well, hoping she would consider helping me recover these from her end, but she has not replied.)

I asked for help in Live Help. I did all the usual checks to make sure I wasn't just missing it in Lost and Found or anywhere else in my inventory. I did Bug Reports, as instructed. I've waited for someone from Linden to help me recover these items, all purchased within the last several weeks (I'm only three weeks old). The only feedback I have received so far is a generic message thanking me for my bug report.

So......

My experience in other online games, such as WoW (a far far larger concurrent user base), is response from a live human being to my issue within an hour. Friends in WoW who had their accounts hacked and items destroyed were given a clear procedure on the restoration of their items. I am disappointed at the overall lack of interest (so far) in helping me with my issue.

I am wondering, first, what is the average wait for an issue like mine to be responded to. Second, what other avenues ought I have pursued to get help recovering my animations. Third, what could/should I do in the future to prevent something like this from happening? Again, these are no-copy animations. The only way to put them in the animator was to rez a copy of the animator on the ground and drag them over into it, leaving no backup copy to return to.

Please advise. I am sure the answers to my questions will be applicable to MANY users like me who feel ignored at the present time.

Thank you.

Edit: For whatever reason..... though I posted this not more than three hours ago, the forum lists it as yesterday. I don't know what sort of glitch would cause that, but I really do want some answers to my question. Thank you again.

Hi Sweet, you can change your forum settings, including timezone, in here:

http://forums.secondlife.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

Also, you already used Edit menu > Preferences > Network tab and pushed "Clear Cache", right? Sometimes that can help refresh your Inventory view.

If stuff is still missing, I'd advise you — and anyone else affected by Inventory lost who's already checked carefully that you can't find your stuff — to:

(1) Contact the original creator of the animations etc. to ask if you can get replacements; they may be able to look at transaction history and help you out, and

(2) IM Kona Linden with your bug report #. He's personally attending to these cases.

I don't know about wait time but hopefully Kona can let you know, the above are the avenues, and in the future, during times when the grid is having difficulties, check the Official Linden Blog for confirmed updates, and don't rez anything valuable if there are known problems which might put your stuff at risk.

Content loss is never easy. Hope this reply came quickly enough for you. Good luck!
