It has been a couple days since Torley promised to get more
clarification on the issues raised by Rickel Petion
(What data? Whose data? Where is the data going? What is done with the data?).
and me (research ethics, secret avatar monitoring, and 3rd party web sites)
here /139/eb/127562/1.html

I'm sure you are all busy, but are you going to answer these questions?

Rickel clearly put significant time and thought into his questions and has some
interesting proposals. I think the communitee would benefit from having them addressed

Hey Pixeleen, I've certainly forwarded on those issues!

They're still in the queue and I'll send a reminder too... I think longer-term as Second Life grows, and the nature of identity in online worlds, we'll craft policy as necessary to clarify points to the community.

And yes, please pardon us--it's a very busy time right now, as you've seen from all the questions in SL Answers. There's so much going on, which must be done first! And then we can move onto the next thing(s). I know the developers have been so busily tasked with focusing on exploits--another hot recent issue. And in my case, I have 100+ different Resident Experience issues to check out personally, coordinate info with the right Lindens, in addition to aggregating more and making sure we aren't missing out on sore spots--it's quite a balancing act, and I just wanted to let everyone know I am clipping through stuff on SL Answers at the pace I can, given the state of my hands and my other job responsibilities, so thanx for your patience.
