Recommending the game to a person, using the same PC

I joined SL a few days ago. Soon after joining, i sent a recommendation to my wife (so if she upgrades to a premium account, i get 2500... ).

Obviously, we're connecting from the same IP address.

I have come to the conclusion, that this would not be a problem to SL or LL, but i would like to make sure, before any money is actually involved.

Thus my qns: Can you recommend SL to a person using the same IP address, and receive the bonus if/when this person upgrades to a premium account?
