I wasn’t really sure where to post this, or how to get this out there

I would like to express my appreciation of how this was handled. Being in the I.T industry for 10yrs I understand the importance of keeping your clients up to date on issues at hand.

Like many, I was logged in at the time of this failure and immediately leapt to the blog per the message. Unlike those who may feel it took entirely too long to post, I believe the timing was appropriate and the frequency of updates were handled extremely well. IMHO 5 - 10 minutes to gather the facts, assess the situation, and inform the public is phenomenal. WAY TO GO!

Please - don’t call me a linden loving hippie for recognizing when someone has done a damn good job. I believe in giving recognition when it’s due. I haven’t logged in yet to see if all my recent items are there, but if they’re missing - that’s another situation and will not change my position.

By the way: turning off comments on grid status announcements - excellent idea.

Hi Billie! Thanks sooooo much for the note. I know it's really, really hard for the residents when we're down and it's really hard on this end to be in the midst of an emergency, trying to get the right information as quickly as possible and write it in a way that makes sense. Thanks again for the props and the understanding! :)
