You're hilarious. You'll keep pumping the L$ clear down to 2.00 usd won't you?

Give it up. The L$ is gonna break the $2's.

Bet if we lowered the quality of items made we could get it to drop even faster! Let's all listen and follow this thread-setters lead.

Lol I'd preffer the L$ was back up at $4/L$1000 where people were comfortable with it.. But your right if you mean it doesn't make *that* much difference to me, compared to a lot of people who rely on it for RL income..

Yeah, it a piece of crap. I know this. But I have to have an entry level product to complete my mix :-)

I find it hilarious someone actually gave me a 1 star rating for it - for god's sake... it is cheap as piss - what were they expecting?!

If content creators cared, they would raise the price on Lindens, and hold it. The fact that several high traffic content creators have admitted they live off Lindens, probably means they can't afford to hold and sell high. If you are going to complain, complain to your friends. Hopefully they don't use your terrible laugh to laugh in your face.

All right, I said I wasn't going to become concerned until we reached this point.

But here we are.

I'm now out of college and working hard, so I'm not... concerned-concerned, you know, like staying awake at night concerned.

But yeah, okay, I'm a little concerned now.

Now it's time to start rattling the cages and hope to hell someone who can influence this crap starts to do so. It took about two or three months after the last economic changes for the Linden to get nice and strong. Hopefully we don't drown before that happens this time.

All of the big block are now gone, I think IGE pulled a fast one on us.

There is 12M list to sell at 3.37, and there is almost 2M to be bought at 3.33. I think someone is freezing the market.

Kinda killed the day trader.

Looks like a lot of lindenbucks got dumped on the market quite a lot lower than the rate at the time. Could be someone (or someones) wanting to cash out. Or someone for whom a sharp drop in the market will give an advantage to. I know someone who pulls stunts like this to shove stock-prices around in day-trading.

It encourages people to sell out before things get lower (by frightening people), then units can be bought back just before a rebound. Value of units on a stock or currency market are a combination of 'actual' value (however you choose to determine that), plus the imaginations/hopes/fears of the buyers and sellers. For our purposes, it's about the sellers. Obviously someone wanted to sell below the market rate, when they could have gotten more per unit.

Yeah, but watch what happens when the price gets up there, the second the $L3.6M started selling they pulled it. Do you think they really will keep an order that big sitting there when there are signs that a few seconds later they can make more money by pulling it and selling higher.

one thing to keep in mind guys...the stipend bonuses are only at half right now, it will be another 3-4 weeks before they are gone completely...before you panic maybe you should wait to see what the elimination of those bonuses actually does to the $L value.

I agree with Eboni though, it's not the common man selling for low prices...it's the content creators who are lowering their standards.

Nobody (and I mean *nobody*) knew that until the message was sent at 10pm tonight. Nope, this selloff is entirely independent.
