Why would any one Limit sell at 336 when they can Market sell now at 347 -348. The difference in the amount of US$ you get by posting a sell order at 336 then selling now at 347 is so little it just does not make any sense.

after fees
selling 100 k at 336 gets you 287.19
selling 100 k now (market sell) gets you 277.47

i guess that 10 us$ is worth sending the market in to a tail spin

I do realize it is supply and demand at work here but with so little difference in the above example i just don't under stand the rational

Uhhh....all it does is tighten up the ask-offer spread. There are still plenty of open buy orders propping up the price.

Yeah, as I mentioned in another forum, I noticed A LOT of extremely stupid sellers this morning. I mean, undercutting a $40,000 and a $60,000 (both one above the other) with a $10,000 just because those two were below you? Sheesh! Could wait, like, 30 minutes, and it would've sold.
