I'm not etirely sure but I'll give it my best guess..
Group land listed in Find will come out of the group money, evenly split between members, thats a group debit.
Ground divedends could've been dwell (before it was removed). Also, if an object is deeded to group and set to sell, and someone buys it, that money will also go to the group, I think.

Zap's right in almost all the particulars. The only place he's wrong is that dwell payments to groups (and individuals) will continue for a little longer, they're being halved from Monday and stopped altogether sometime after that.
Basically groups can't hold money, ideally at all, in practise they can have a balance between 0 and number of members - 1.
Any money they "earn" - land sales, money paid into suitably set up deeded to group items, dwell and anything else - is split evenly (rounding down) between the group members. Any excess (obviously < no. of group members) is then kept until the next day.
Outgoings are, I think, only payments for the land showing in the find catalogue - again it's taken from any residual profits, then split evenly amongst the members of the group (rounding up this time) to give you a potential source of credit I guess.

That raises a question in my mind. When dwell finally does disappear, is LL going to stop charging groups for their listings in find, or at least have it debited from a specific officer? I can see losing group members leaving after they start going "wtf, why is my account being debited?". Personally, I don't mind paying the 30L listing.. but I shouldn't have to steal it from my group members because LL decided to do away with dwell income.

The biggest problem I see with groups is that I buy a piece of land for the group and it comes out of my pocket but I can't resell it that way... Instead I have to play games to resell and get the money back. The only work around I seen thats viable is getting paid directly and reselling to them for zero. There should be other options.

The new group tools SHOULD let us alter that sort of thing Teddy, but when they're here is anyone's guess.
And Loniki, the group tools might also solve your problem. In the meantime the trick is to sell to yourself for $0 and then sell personally. This can, of course, affect your tier so isn't always ideal.
