Hey all - I'm new to SL. I came here for a specific reason, and I have a specific goal.

I'm looking for three people to form a team.

A quick background of myself: I work in finance. I have my NASD series 7, 66, and 24 licenses. I am a CFA Level 1 candidate. My name is Jonathan in SL and in RL.

The team I'm looking for:

Someone with corporate accounting experience (in a publicly traded company)
Someone with an extensive background in financial analysis
Someone with scripting experience

I'm busy during the week so I'll be working on this project during weekends (probably four hours of collaboration in total per week).

I anticipate that the project will take about four months to complete. I will pay for any external expenses necessary to complete it (programs, phone conference time, website hosting/dev, etc.)

I am not paying a salary, but the project will most likely have its financial rewards (the size of these rewards are obviously dependant on the exchange rate...).

Please send me an e-mail at jb_ap@comcast.net with a brief resume. Serious inquires only, please.

Thanks,
Jonathan

EDIT (4/11/06): These positions require $0 startup capital on your end.

To milk people of their money? heheheeh

Usually somebody clues in the folks they are soliciting with
what the plan is going to be. Otherwise, one can only assume
its a scheme to milk folks of their wallets.

Phase 1 of the project will not require anything but time (again, about four hours a week). Any expenses incurred during phase 1 will come out of my pocket. By phase 2 there should be enough income so the business is self-sustaining.

Considering who you are hiring, sounds like you want to start a bank.

I'm still looking for someone with experience in finance.

I won't be able to give many details until after the 20th, but send me an e-mail at jb_ap@comcast.net (please include a resume).

I should also be online tomorrow (Hooray - the market's closed! :) ), so you can IM me in game.

After the 20th? Is that when your flight lands in Mexico, making
it impossible for people to get their money back? HEhehehe

Wah, you don't EVEN want to know what I thought this thread might be about!

But then I just skipped up here from perusing classifieds, so maybe I was a bit in the wrong mindset...

Ah, good luck to all four of you, yourself and whomever the other three may turn out to be.
