My idea is to create a world region.

One region will be bought. In the region there will be numerous villages. Each village would represent a country, for example Japan Town, France Town, etc. In a away it will be like Epcot. The villages will host stores/shops which will create revenue for the region. Also the villages will be a great place to host events.

it really is a great idea. both the world island example and the SL example. except right now I'd say that there really is too much retail space as it is. I'd really like to see something else done with such a creative aproach. Perhaps a small recreationg of the old Linden subsedized events. That would be great.

Just in case you were wondering, that "The World Islands" project really (well, if you believe Popular Science; http://www.popsci.com/popsci/science/article/0,20967,599827-3,00.html) is supposed to happen.

Any land barons want to split the 6.85 million USD (L$1,712,500,000 if my math is correct) cost per island? I'm sure we could make a killing off of developing it :)
