Not used the forums before but thought i might sound this out see what people think. If you own an estate (mainland, half a SIM or More) It costs just as much as a private island land tier wise, however mainland estate owners tools are woeful compared to our island owning friends. Granted some options cannot happen as setting sunrise /sunset phase would have a global effect on all mainland sims, and texture land tools could be equally troublesome. However the option of switching your estate between PG and Mature (Depending on the nature of event) would be to not put too fine a point on it very useful. And alternatively if the above is technically not possible, perhaps a slightly reduced land tier for mainland Sim owners would be nice since we have very limited options in estate management. Thoughts Anyone?

One flaw in your thoughts.... owning a whole or half mainland sim did not cost you the initial outlay for the setup, which is now 1250$ USD

From: KirstenLee Cinquetti However the option of switching your estate between PG and Mature (Depending on the nature of event) would be to not put too fine a point on it very useful. One problem with this: 1. Buy all of a PG sim at PG prices. 2. Change PG sim to Mature sim. 3. Sell at Mature prices. My view is that islands are "seperate" from the mainland, and are treated quite differently in terms of what you can do with them. If you're in the market for a sim, what you decide to buy really depends on what you want.

hmm no setup fee 1200u$ ..... 58000sqm = 113ish 512m plots @ 2600L$ each (ish) = 293800L$ = about 1130u$ Depending on exchange rate at time.
No new server had to be set up infact the hardware already exsisted theres yer setup fee.
I agree that a change between PG and Mature could effect prices, but then again so could p2p teleporting or pixel shaders which make waterfront look very nice, besides if the land is sold again the Sim rating should go back to its default.
How about a change to TOS which allows for mature events on PG land as long as land is closed to anyone accept maby a group? However doing this would prevent most people traversing yer sim ... surely much easier to flick a checkbox in estate tools?
