land area of region blocks?

Anybody know how large the regions are? The ones Linden is selling for $1250?

Visit this SL website page (http://secondlife.com/community/land-islands.php) to learn more. The small islands, which are usually referred to as regions, are 65,536 square meters.

Each sim costs US$1250 upfront plus a monthly US$195. So multiple that by the number of island sims you want.

If you are interested in something bigger, there are large islands, which are 4 contiguous sims making a square. These are 262,144 square meters in size. Also, if you are interested in something even bigger, you can use the land store to reserve a much larger block of sim or contact LL directly to discuss your ideas.
