LindeX is not as of yet a fully free market. As long as the $2000 USD selling limit remains in place, there will be no serious, large scale market makers.

LL needs to repeal this regulation to unleash the full power of the free market.

Can't you tier up if you email them? I thought it was only there so if someone's account gets broken into, then they will not buy billions of Lindens.

This I am actually against, because the market only allows about $10,000,000L of daily transactions, meaning that only about $10,000,000L worth are willing to be bought by someone. At curent margins you can make MAYBE about $50US every 30 days on the trade, which isn't much, but at the least it lets others have a chance to trade. If the limits were open, someone could easilly dump $10,000,000 worth of $L on the market, and no one else would make a sale for that entire day.

Agreed.... We need Free Markets to price the L$ accordingly.
All these restrictions/approvals are more Socialist Attempts to
reign in market forces...

Nobody reigns in markets..

Protection against what? Somebody wanting to buy as much L$
as possible?

If LL is worried about credit card fraud, then they should allow for
the creation of deposit accounts... Let me sent LL a check for $10,000
and deposit that into my trading account so I can trade without barriers...

Let the Market Be Free.....

... and sensible people who don't make threads just to troll.

All mouth and no trousers you two. Until we see some documented, independently verifiable proof as to your contribution and credentials, then you will continue to be the subject of ridicule.

With a capital of 2000USD and a turnover ratio of 20 your day trade volume reaches 40kUSD.
This is more than the daily trade volume...

Don't forget the majority of people who fill buy orders are people who need $L RIGHT NOW, which is mostly newbies, impulse buyers, and people who don't understand or don't want to deal with the market. There's a very limited amount of those (check daily $L transactions)

It's $2000US buy and $2000 us sell. Every time you trade one $300US set, this only applies $300 to your $2000 sell limit and $300 to your $2000 buy limit
