Odd how it works out when people can and do exactly what they want on land they own without regard for the people next to them. This was Prokofy's point originally. It seems then tables have turned.
Mind you I have not seen these towers, but I did look at your building, and I like it. I am not one of the W hats. But really, one tower begets another, and we all should have the right to build upon land we own whatever we please, and damned the neightbors I pay my tier.

I would like to state that these towers do not belong to me, the only part I played was giving one of these land owners a block from my old tower after he asked me, he said he wanted to build his own tower of his own will.

Ive been watching this issue lately, and for one thing Chad seems to be exaggerating things a bit. Your big white tower was bound to set the standards of the sim as far as height goes. How can you expect someone to build a tiny little shop next to your monstrosity? (not that it looks bad.) Why, wouldnt you expect a few complaints about lack of access to your own land if it were next to a giant white thing? I'm for anyone being able to build anything on their land. Within the rules of course, and this doesn't seem to me like a rules violation.

From: chad Statosky thats not the problem i moved my land to get rid of the towers and they are following me I do sympathize hun. But unfortunately if they own the land the towers are sitting on, even if you move, they can move with you. Its their land and they pay tier. On a smaller scale this is exactly what all the fuss is about. I would hate to see you leave SL over this, but I understand. My garden has a view of a big boxy strip club. Best of luck to you.

OK. I'm closing this thread, since at the core of it is a series of interpersonal conflicts and attacks that people are unwilling to let go of.
If anyone *restarts* these flamewars in a new thread, I'm just going to start deleting the flames with no further warnings.
If anyone wants to start new threads thoughtfully discussing the possibility of zoning laws organized by residents or how to work with your neighbors on establishing good community relations (important topics brought up in here), I hope you do.
