LL does.... log into your account, go to land auctions.
Or when the grid reopens use your Search button, sort by area. There are quite a few available

I think Sara is looking for a "Private Island" The ones LL auctions or on the mainland. (Correct me if I am wrong) but I thought that was how it went. I didn't think they auctioned off private islands.  |

I am checking to see if any one has an island sim they are selling before I go ahead with the Lindens, just checking if I can save a couple hundred dollars. I am not looking to exploit anyone like SOME island purchasers offering 500-750 I am offering 1,000 US for an island sim if anyone is wishing to sell. I have until July 28th before I need to order one. Thanks and Mainland living, Shudders at the thought thanks every one |

Thanks for the advice on checking the classifieds. Just an FYI, if you're are planning to buy an existing island and moving it, there is a fee of $150 to move it. You may as well buy a new one. |

That's actually the cost of the transfer from one owner to another, she was talking about physically moving the island to new location on the map which is $150. So actually, the total cost would be $250 unless you could convince the seller to pay the transfer cost. |

When you buy an island LL will move it for you no charge to move it. If you have existing island and wish to move it there is a fee involved The following is what SL tells us they will do. What changes can be made to the island for the new owner? We can rename the island and move it from its original location at no additional cost. We can also restore the terrain to its original state. The new owner can also request custom terrain or other custom work, which will be billed at the usual $53 per hour of custom work required |
