Hi there,
I have newbie First Land, and used it for a shop... put up a build that I am happy with, and that I've gotten some compliments on. However, on either side of me blocking my land are plots that the owners haven't done anything with except build a plywood box, then set their land to either "Buy Pass" or "No Entry." This blocks my land off completely from two sides.
It doesn't look like the owners log in, ever. I've already tried IMing them to change the security setting on their land. And if they never login and don't USE it, I'd be willing to buy the land from them too. I suspect they lost interest in the game and that's why there's no response to my IMs.
What would you do?
PS - It's PG land, and probably not easily sellable if I want to relocate.

I have a very similar problem with several plots near me.
The only thing to do is wait. If they really have abandoned the land, it will eventually be recycled through the first land system.

Maybe, but if they just keep paying the $10/month, it won't be absorbed back into the system. There's a plot near my first land that it only has a single log on it and nothing else. It's annoying people do this. It's really annoying when you're trying to get to a destination and run into this crap 4 or 5 times in a row. What's even worse are the damn teleportation security scripts. If my destination wasn't marked for me already, I'd have been lost for sure. Don't people realize how this stuff affects the rest of us? Besides, it's not like I can break in and steal all their crap.

Aaaargh. Now visible from my front porch is a screen showing pornography, including bestiality. I'm on PG land, but the border of, and they're on Mature. I'm guessing I can't do anything about that.
I'm ready to give up and move. My land is beautiful but my neighbours are NOT.

No - THAT you can definitely do something about. Mature content should not be seen from PG areas. Report it and it will be taken care of.
