Help, I need help with setting up a property for rent. How do I go about this ?

Section off the land you want to rent out. You can either use a rental box placed on the land (look on SLexchange, there are some freebie ones) Or you can just have prospective tenants IM you and deal with them directly. Many land owners will set the land to allow only group members to place prims and have tenants join the group. This prevents the land owner from having to deal with constantly cleaning up objects for their tenants when someone comes along and drops things.

One idea is to go wander around other rental properties (being respectfull of people's privacy of course) and see how other landlords are doing it.

IM me in world if you want to have a chat about it. But what Allana says is true, if you don't have a very large number of rental parcels to deal with its probably easier to just have prospects IM you and deal direct.
