Groups should be able to take the total of the tier donated by individual players and turn it into a volume discount.

For example, 20 players at basic tier should be able to own a SIM.

This would encourage more group builds and we truly would have the whole is greater than the sum of the parts..

groups get a ten percent bonus on donated allocation. so a full sim can be owned by 117 premium accounts contributing 512sm each or 59,9904 meters plus 5,999 for a grand total of 65,903 which is enough to own a sim with 367sm left over. whew.

if groups didn't get a bonus, it would take 128 premiums for a savings of eleven people. can 117 people get along better than 128 do you think?

Remember that a mainland sim won't come to 65,535 m2 as there is always the Linden Protected Land to be considered. Some of the sims I have noticed being auctioned are as low as 54,000 or so.

Remember a group or group of people can NOT own an Estate Sim. One Estate Sim = one person and one credit card.

yeah this one makes no sense to me.

if i own an estate assigned to a group with the understanding that i, and my credit card, are ultimately responsible for the entire monthly fee, there's no reason that group allocation shouldn't offset my cost.

there is a reason that it should; ll will make more money.

no discount would kick in until the group had at least half a sims worth of allocation. at that point, i would pay $125 that month and, considering two quarter tier allocations, the others would pay $75 each. that would total that would total $275 for the month.

Island owners can request that Linden set a Private Island to have the features of group owned land. The actual ownership is not conveyed to the group and group members cannot pay for the island by contributing land allocations.

thank you. i did that the other day when i was reading through in the hopes that fate gardens will eventually afford it's own island.

when i proofed it, one of the changes said mustard instead of traffic. i don't know what i was thinking.
