Just a heads up to anyone who may be selling to IGE, I placed an order to sell around noon today and 4 hours later I had to contact Live Help to find out they're unable to do pickups. I was actually told to check back "in a few days". Apparently they're not buying for the next few days because of some technical problems and also don't plan on saying so on the website. You can still enter an amount and get a quote, even complete the entire process but it will not be picked up.

Do what they do and hit them up with a lawsuit if they don't comply. Give them a taste of their own medicine. LOL

This seems to be a normal thing for IGE. I have seen numerous threads about people having issues selling their $L. Ironically though, before Lindex was available, I ordered my $L from IGE and never once had a problem. I always had my $ within 5-10 minutes. It seems they have some serious issues in buying $L from people.

Had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday. If you are going to have the appearance of an automated system... at least send out automated warnings saying 'oops, technical difficulties'... or even better, don't accept the order in the first place. Totally bizzare.

I've never had a problem with them up to this point. I wish they could give more information than 'technical difficulties'. I remember at a place I used to work, that's what we had to tell customers when our boss came in late.

A year ago IGE was fast and efficient and reliable and they told you when they werent buying. With IGE now they are sloooooooooooooooooooooooow. I love this little quote.

"If you set your order as a Immediate Delivery please log in NOW as we most likely are already in game waiting for you"

In the past six months I dont think I have waited for under a half hour to get a pick up usually much more.

Lindex is better imho. Cashout can take some time with them but still better than waiting around for ige to log in. I'm still shocked they cant handle offline sends.

Yeah I think Lindex is the way to go now (for selling at least) - especially now that they've lowered the Paypal withdraw fee to $1 and are now using "mass pay" - meaning no fee is taken by Paypal for Premier / Business account users when receiving money. And my last withdrawal was processed within a day. I don't see any reason to use a site like IGE anymore.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Tor. :(

Slow isnt the word, I totally boycott them because they over paid me and held me at fault for it. I even waited up 4 days with very little sleep for them to resolve the matter by picking up the lindens they over paid me for since i didnt have the actual cash in paypal anymore. They, to this day, still have not came to pick it up and refused me of service for their mistake. That was about 1 month before GOM closed.

Funny part about it, they DID come to pick up the order that I put in that they said they could not fill intil I paid them the overpayment, instead of the correction.

Talk about unprofessional business communications with their own staff.

I never used to have a problem with them up until that point (used them for a year no problems) and they used to be always reliable even with hundreds of dollar orders in other MORPG I play, I switched to SWAG and also use lindex now. I kept all the records of the emails in case they try to hold this agianst me of them admitting fault.

*now that is off my chest* lol
