Hopefully this will be a continual thread people can refer to for similar questions in the future.

My questions:

1) How do you determine what the up to the minute exchange rate is for buying Lindens?

2) The website says that an order of Lindens being sold may not all be sold at once. When I set my exchange rate, will those Lindens be sold at that amount even if the Lindex exchange rate changes before they all sell?

3) Are there any in-game tools for seeing the current Lindex rates?

4) Can I buy/sell Lindens from within the game, or only through the website?

This is my 1st post! I'm loving Second Life!

I have both SL and the Website on at once so can flip back and forth in seconds.

If you want the spot buying price on the Lindex just go to the buy page under the Lindex Currency Exchange and put in values for how much USD you want to spend. You will get the exchange rate the is currently available for that amount. I have noticed that anything above $40,000 really starts to drop the average rate of exchange for your dollars.

To see the Open Sell Orders you have to change your settings in the "My Account" Section on the Community Part of the Website. There is a menu of links on the right side under the heading "Your Account", there is a link for Currency Exchange Setting, change it to Advanced from Basic.

Yes you can. Simply click on the money display in the top right corner of the SL window.
