another suggestion for the recent inflation

Um, i don't claim to know alot about anything, but i have a way that we can cut down on leeches in SL. GET RID OF THE FUCKING CAMPING CHAIRS AND MONEY TREES.

I'm all for helpin out a newbie thats just starting out and wants to buy a few things to truly personalize thier avatars and whatnot. but the newbies are not the ones taking advantage of the free money objects.

A friend of mine recently went under cover so see just how much money a person could make "gold farming" these free linden systems. A person with enough alternate accounts can farm money trees for over 2000L a day! And if this person makes a few alts to camp chairs and whatnot, this person can rake in close to 5k L$ a day without breaking a sweat.

We put the money into those objects for people that don't have alot of in game money, but want a little extra to have fun playing the game. But the people that are doing the farming, are casino owners, club owners, trust me, i've seen them bring people in to farm a money tree, tp in some newbie looking characters WITH THE SAME CASINO LISTED IN GROUPS and sit there and just drain a tree of all remaining money.

So these people are making 5k a day just by teleporting to various locations. then selling this free money they get to the highest linden dollar to us dollar ratio. sure the stipends are causing a little inflation, but its these gold farmers that are doing a good bit of the damage.

Camping Chairs and Money Trees are just dishing out money that had to be
acquired through direct purchase or Widget Sales from existing Linden Dollars.

No, i do not fail sir. yes printing new money is killing it. but this is something WE DO NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER AS PLAYERS. do a little research and see just how much money these leeches are selling a day for extremely high L$:USD

what we do have control over is leeches. WE put the money in those camping chairs, WE put the money in those money trees, and a small network of people take it all right back out, and sell it for their own gain. which is not the intended use for these objects.

it sucks for the real newbies who just want a little extra money to play with, but if it will help stop people from selling all of OUR money back to us for insane amounts, then it must be eliminated.

Or... you could just ignore the one line troll who doesn't have anything useful to say, never offers a real workable solution to anything, or will share what he does to make SL such a wonderful place for the rest of us.
