If the teen grid is tied in with our same market and if that is the case could that be some of the problem too? If it is, I do not see why two totally different "worlds" should control one market. What goes on in their community, economics wise has to be vastly different than our economy on the main grid. I understand they are limited on how much can be bought, but if they too, are dumping money mommy and daddy have helped them require into the market at some of these high prices we're seeing, it's bound to play hell on it. Just a thought, maybe I'm wrong. Most likely I'm wrong, but just a thought I havent seen covered as of yet.

well I got one thing to say about teens and our market.
they live at home supported byt their parents, therefor the money being sold might not be as important to them what price to sell it at, they arent suporrting themselves in RL. I have to agree that the teen market and the adult market should be separate. we cant go to their grid they cant go to ours, why the share in the forums and the market?

From: Tink Buttercup Well Kat I think we're the only two concerned with the teen grid tied into the main market lol I think it's a very interesting point, Tink. Teen Grid Residents will be restricted to:
purchasing no more than US$25 worth of L$ per rolling 30 days selling/posting no more than US$2000 worth of L$ per rolling 30 days That could explain alot of things. The Teen grid residents can't purchase more than $25 USD worth of L$ per rolling 30 days yet they can sell up to $2000 USD per rolling 30 days. I've never visited the Teen grid but I could see how some of the adult merchants might allow their kids to open shop there and ... well, I'm not going to speculate but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the adult merchants were there using their kids' accounts to sell their goods there. Anyways. All guess work aside, I'd rather the Teen grid and their economy not be part of the adult economy. *shrug* Zach

The TG is a full year old with 10,000 total signups, 40 regions and its first private island. Community, shopping, fascinating landscapes and cityscapes are evolving, driven by the creativity of the teen Residents of Second Life. Read it for yourself http://secondlife.com/newsletter/2006_03_22/#TG They need their own Lindex Market keeping their world in balance and ours too.
