I would advise that Linden Labs never even PLAN to manufacture any fluent material sampling device under the name LindeX. All other uses seem to be fine ( NOTE: This is a kind of reply to some people jumping on the use of the LindeX name for the exchange. How do you know they didn't get the rights to use that name from that company?

you don't need to; it's a different market/different product. s'like apple computers vs. apple records... though ap.rec renewed interest in lawsuiting ap.comp over selling music via the 'itunes store'... something to think about, but nothing to necessarily fret over, -unless- you're crossing over markets...
i guess if i had to call it, apple isn't selling 'apple music,' nor even necessarily 'itunes store' music; they ride a fine line there. since the closest the trademark could get is 'itunes music', that's a different name entirely as far as distribution. i imagine steve-o spent a good amount of time brainstorming with da team over that before rolling out.

Trademarks are industry specific. Don't think a currency exchange has anything to do with plastic pellets or whatever.

The real question is why would you call a fluent material sampling device LindeX?
