Dang looks like First Land is out right now. :( I've read it's prepared at the beginning of the week, so it would have been expected to come out today... but if it doesn't... I recommend just keep looking. There'll be more, as new regions are added to the grid! :)

You don't need to buy first land first, its just the only chance you have to purchase it and its probably the best deal you'll ever get buying land. Its worth waiting for the discount in my opinion :)

I wish there was some sort of notice about when first land is going to be available again. I bought the premium account on the understanding that I would be able to buy first land, the webpage never made any mention of "running out".

Hope when new land comes it doesn't instantly sell out before I can buy some. :S

Check often. It does go quick.

I think it goes up every week. I bought my first 512 plot last thursday.

I believe LL was unprepared for the recent interest in buying First Land. The last two weeks were the first time ever that I've seen First Land run out. There's usually upwards of 100 lots available.

I'm sure they'll be dividing up a few more Sims for the new residents soon, and hopefully there'll be an ample supply from then onwards.

Hint: Don't select 'First Land' and then search, you'll only get a maximum of 10 lots shown. Instead, select 'All Land' and put '512' and '512' in the cost and area boxes. That way you'll see all the First Land available.

It ran out before, about a month or so ago, when I was looking, and stayed out for ages.

Just last night there was some very pretty waterfront, looked like, available. Probably gone now.

This is a symptom of a larger problem: LL is always doing everything by hand instead of using an automated system. Possibly because they have the content people sitting around twiddling their thumbs while the developers are always way too busy.
First Land should always be created in proportion to the rate of its depletion.
