Anyone know of some resources for generating terrain maps and/or any online map sources?

For SL? Cadroe has a fairly large collection of maps of SL he's made. I've got my own toolkit which can make them as well (and do some other interesting things.).

Terragen and Bryce both work... but only slightly. Terragen has the added advantage that its shareware. While using these programs you can generate some really neat terrains, but its hard to really tweak the terrains with accuracy with the tools provided. I'm finding the best answer to be to draw the terrain with Photoshop and just import into terragen or Bryce for visualisation.
