Group to Group Land Xfers: How?

We need to move a portion of my group's land holdings to a newly-created group with the same officers in order to split-off some duties and uses.

Any attempt by any of us to buy this land ourselves would result in a tier boost the instant the sale completes since we all have all our tier contributed to the current group.

How, exactly, does one handle something like this when all of us have our tiers contributed to the existing group, and will obviously need to partially contribute to the new group too?

Before anyone asks, none of us has any excess or unused contribution that can be pulled out and used to do this in small bite-sized land pieces.

Subdivide the land you wish to transfer and set it for sale directly to an officer of the secondary group.

The officer can then buy the land for the secondary group by pressing the BUY FOR GROUP button.

Tier will need to be taken from the first group and transfered to the second before you do any of this. Whoever shifts their tier, or maybe all the officers, will get a message saying that the group is suddenly short and that tier needs to be added by a given time and date. You won't have to worry about that because you're transferring land out of the group anyway.

BE SURE LOOK HERE IMPORTANT STUFF FOLLOWS BE ABSOLUTELY SURE to set the land for sale to the officer not to just anyone. Do this BEFORE you check the For Sell box.

BE SURE LOOK HERE IMPORTANT STUFF FOLLOWS BE ABSOLUTELY SURE that the buying officer has the secondary group active. When you Buy For Group, you're buying for your currently active group.

DO BE SURE TO CHECK the groups' tierage and holdings once you've completed the transactions. You don't want land diappearing out from under you days later because something was not correctly shifted.

Good Luck!

Thanks, Khamon... Doesn't seem so hard with it layed-out like that. :-)
