Hopefully someone knows the answer.
I have been a member of SL since Nov 04'. I owned 2048sqm on the mainland about 8 months ago. I tiered up and payed my dues. I owned this land for about 1 month, then the sim started getting ugly and prim limits forced me to sell up and move on.I tiered back down, and currently *own* zero land.
I bought (rented) a large plot in Dreamland, and i am happy as can be. I also rent from another landbarron a smallish plot for my store.
Now,the question is,am i eligable for first land still after all this time? The parcel i owned on the mainland was *not* first land when i aquired it,i paid good price for it, and sold it on for the same amount.
I have never owned/bought first land since i started. I just wondered if the fact i have tiered up and payed the Lindens before would mean i'm now not eligible to it.
I'm curious, because if i can get first land, then i would only want the free to rent (Premium acct) 512sqm so i would have another outlet for my designs.
Any help appreciated,thanks.

You should have the 512 tier free still if you haven't contributed it to a group, nor own land currently. If you have ever owned land at any point (as you say you have) you are no longer eligible for the 512 m2 for 512 Lindens offer.

First land has to be the first land that you purchase, or its not an option anymore. Sorry.

You're not eligible to buy first land: "Parcels are 512 square meters and sell for L$1 per meter to those who have never owned land." Source: http://secondlife.com/community/land-getyours.phpOnce you buy land (whether or not your first land purchase was First Land is irrelevant), you can no longer buy First Land. HP
