Proposal to Allow Estate Owners/Managers to Join/Subdivide Group-owned Land

Edit: Thankfully, Linden Labs has decided to fix things! Please disregard this proposal, and thank you, everyone who supported this, or otherwise let Linden Labs know how you felt about the changes to estate management!

Hello, all!

As of v1.12, estate owners and managers are no longer allowed to join or subdivide land over group-owned land. This apparently was a "feature" rather than a bug, but it's become a very annoying problem for those of us who own or manage estates, and appears to serve no useful purpose whatsoever.

Ironically, when attempting to join or subdivide land, estate owners and managers now get this error: "You must be an estate owner or manager to join/subdivide land." :rolleyes:

Hence, I've created a proposal to revert back to pre-v1.12 behavior, allowing estate owners and managers to once again have the ability to join or subdivide land, group-owned or otherwise.

Thank you for the reply and the interest. :)

Simply go to https://secondlife.com/vote/vote.php?get_id=1889 and find the drop-down box near the bottom which reads "set votes to 0", and click the arrow next to it, and you'll be able to apply as many votes as you like (up to 10).

If it doesn't give you any options other than "set votes to 0", you can go to https://secondlife.com/vote/my_votes.php to see where your other votes are placed. Click on the titles of each proposal, and reduce your votes on each to whatever you prefer. Then go back to the first link and set your votes as you wish.
