This land stuff continues to stretch my brain cells into areas they are not comfortable... Question for y'all...

We have a group. We own land. One of the members needs to reduce their monthly tier fees, and I'm willing to increase mine for the group's land holdings. The short question is this: How do I make that happen?

A related question is: Under "My Account," lower land tier levels are disabled, making it appear as though you can upgrade, but not downgrade, your monthly land tier. Is this because it knows all my tier is in-use? And for the group member who wishes to reduce their tier, if the group contributions are swapped around, will they then have the ability to downgrade? Or does it occur automatically at the billing interval?

Thanks in advance for the assistance of those more knowledgeable in this area.

In my experience you cannot reduce your tier below the land you have obligated. So if you are currently at the 4096 tier, and you have, lets say 4050 land owned/contributed and you try to adjust your tier you can only go up. If you sell off enough land to bump below the 2048 level then you will be able to push your tier down.

For the examples above I'm excluding the fact that 512 is included in the premium account for simplicity.

Increase your tier via web page, then contribute to the group(group->land tab). Then tell him/her to reduce his/her contribution to the group from the same tab.

Yes it means your tier is in use.
