Unless it appears under the poster's name on these forums, it cannot be considered as 'official' in any way. Whilst the MM may well be a respected publication, you do understand how easily things could be fabricated by a less honest website.

Plus of course the statement is untrue in the first place.

And even if it is true -- and I'm not sure it's not -- the value of the Linden shouldn't be LL's only concern. There are paying customers besides the ones that sell their Linden dollars.
