I'll state the usual..."Hey, I am fairly new to SL and have a question" statement before I ask this question.
I own a piece of property that currently has a big red box overlapping it and I can not delete or edit the item of course. Now I have im'ed the box owner asking nicely to reduce its size or remove it but am still waiting for a response.
Let's assume the owner could care less and ignores my IM, do I have any other recourse in removing or deleting this item?
Its not the end of the world but I am unable to use half my land and it decreases its value quite abit if I should ever try to sell it.
Thanks

Use Report Abuse in the help menu.

You can contact live help/Lindens to have it removed.

I would give the owner a few days to reply, then Abuse report it and click the 'report object' button, then click the cube. In the AR, explain that it is overlapping your land so they will understand what you are reporting.

From: Jonas Pierterson You can contact live help/Lindens to have it removed. As a live helper... please don't. Live help isn't all lindens, and generally even the lindens need to go through the proper channels - file a report, etc. All contacting us does it get you angry when we tell you we can't do anything about it.

I've asked Live help to remove stuff for me before and they did it within a few minutes... it wasn't even on my land but I explained it was from an old build by a friend who wasn't online anymore, and I had removed the half that was on my land and that it looked bad in half-existance.
So I'd give that a try with the warning that sometimes they are less helpful than my experience suggests.

There is a Land Management forum I have used that and it is taken care of within a few days. As stated by others, Live Help can't always help with that and I don't know if Abuse Reporting it is really efficient either. *shrugs*
