IGE is currently overstocked and not buying Lindens. How long has it been since that happened?

That happens every so often.

IGE will freeze buying, then start back up a few days later. I think the recent drop in buying price from $3.70->$3.50 caused a lot of people to cash out.

I think the last time they froze buying was May/June. Then again, I don't check up all that much, so I might be mistaken.

I'd keep trying. They obviously have a very exact ceiling. I've had it tell me that they're full, and as little as an hour later had my order accepted.

I've seen the overstock message in the past and yes, in as little as an hour it usually is gone. Its been 3 days now...has anyone been able to sell to IGE since Monday Night?

The reason IGE is overstocked is they hadn't dropped the price to the buyers for a long time, even though they are paying much less. Buying from GOM is much cheaper because GOM charges a tiny transaction fee. This overstocking has caused IGE to drop prices as they should have done with their drop in buying price.

The great thing about GOM is the market truely sets the value.

Didn't anyone else notice that during Philip's town hall there was a single 1 million Linden transaction done? Hmmm......
