The amount of Lindens being put towards the classified ads much be going way up. To get on the first page, it is now 30 percent more expensive than it was a month ago (10K compared to over 13K). Some of the top amounts on the page are now over 36K.
As we all know dwell is going away.
Linden dollar has moved from 301/300 down to 298/297 (may be temporary weekend strength).
Has the Linden dollar at least found a point where it has reached its low point against the dollar and the economy is getting better balanced? Will the Linden strengthen more?
Thoughts?

When I watch large sell orders placed I get the impression the people placing them don't have the time to study the market and just look where they need to set the price to make a quick sale. They place the order and leave knowing the the order will be executed in a couple of hours or in the case of a 500K+ Linden order placed last night at about 11:30 in about 6 hours because of the lower volume of Linden purchases. It looks like these people need money manegers working for them to maximize their return. You might suggest that to them if you know any.

The fall in the value of the Linden dollar has nothing to do with the supply of Linden dollars and a great deal to do with the fact that you must have US dollars to have a premium account or own land in SL (or buy a better computer etc.), and you don't actually need Linden dollars for much. In other words, the falling value of the Linden dollar reflects the value of the Linden dollar relative to the US dollar.

I don't understand the need for a quick sale either especially when the amount is 500K Lindens and its posted 2, 3 or 5 Lindens under the best price. We need buy orders!!

There were many more trades of 100K Lindens or more after 10:00 AM today but I couldn't watch them very close so didn't see the actual amount but the 3 trades I did see placed for over 1.3 million Lindens were placed at 298 to 1 when the 298 to 1 sell orders were about to be liquidated and trading would start buying the 297 to 1 sell orders. I believe the Lindens are working on instituting open buy orders.
