Since the search function is dead again as per usual and I want to cancel my account I'm trying to merge about 5 plots of 512 land into one chunk that I can sell as a whole.

Can't for the life of me find out how to do that though.

Presuming they're in the same sim, get into your edit land dialog and draw a "box" on the ground in the standard way (click and drag) that joins the parcels. if they aren't right next to each other, you may have to join a couple, then join another to that, etc.

Thanks, that worked! :)

While I'm here I don't suppose there were any unexpected improvements in the engine to allow for factual activities along with yanno, the usual socializing, sex and building? Something that might actually entice me to not tier down to zero and pack my stuff?

I just dug through my transactions and saw they halved the weekly stipend. That's "nice".

Uhm, no. It's still L$500 a week for premium accounts. What you may be seeing is that bonuses for ratings have gone away.

Most residents, myself included, seem to feel that the new version 1.8, which was rolled out Dec. 13, is a big improvement on the lagfest that was 1.7.

Hmm, for some reason I mistakingly remembered the stipend being around 1000. Oh well, my mistake.

So it's less laggy, does that mean vehicles are more easy to operate and more fun?

Depends on the vehicle. Most I own are much easier to fly (although having a better computer has helped me a good deal as well). Land-based vehicles still have sim-transfer problems, although that's probably not going away soon.

In any case, the level of fun ALSO depends on the vehicle. I always have a blast with the Autogyro. :D

You probably got L$500 extra in bonuses..

Point to point teleporting is a big improvement tho.. See how much easier shopping and comparing prices is now :D

Well I hadn't logged on in a long time to begin with. I just need something to actually -do- to really be motivated to log in regularly. Besides, I'll still be around with a free basic account. Unless those aren't in existance anymore?
