This is pretty funny:

Confirm Buy Linden Dollar Order

We are unable to complete your request.
• This transaction would exceed your monthly limit by US$694.81.
Your monthly limit is US$150.
• The system encountered an error while processing your order, please try again.

Order Summary
Description: Buy Linden Dollar Order for L$70000
at a limit of no less than L$350 per US$1.00
Estimated Price: US$200.30

Payment Method

The cost will be charged from your account's US$ balance, which we've listed below:

Your Balances: L$5,908 US$202.39

This is the response from LL when I tried to increase my LindeX tier.

Hello Svar,

Sorry, but until you have a more established billing relationship with
us we can't increase your LindeX tier. There are some other L$ currency
exchanges listed here that may be able to help you:

Your LindeX tier will automatically increase in about 5 days when you
hit your 45 day anniversary:

Yes, that's right. There was a glitch in how the daily and monthly buy limits were calculated. You shouldn't have been able to exceed US$150 in a 30 day period. The problem has been corrected, hence why you're now seeing that message.

Which was the correct response. On the page where you found out how to make a tier request https://secondlife.com/currency/describe-tiers.php

From: someone
Additional tiers with increased limits are available to Main Grid residents that are 45 days old or older. Typically we are looking at your LindeX usage and your payment history.

Sorry for any confusion.

Cheers,
Lawrence

To be perfectly honest Lawrence I knew exactly what I was doing and by calling LL trying to get my 45 day newbe status revoke since I already had exceeded the limit I knew I might expose a flaw in the system but the gamble was worth it to me. My post was just to stir up trouble for some of the more radical posters on this forum. I'm sorry you took your valuable time to explain something to me I already knew and please personally thank Firefly Linden for her very rapid response to my call. I suggested that the 45 day limit was probably the reason that I couldn't transfer $1000 from my PayPal account to LL in the first place and the call was at the suggestion of Torley Linden who responded to my Second Life Answers question in the first place. So also thank Torley for me as well since we can't post thank you's in that Forum. The response I have received from LL on this issue has been rapid and accurate. I think you people are doing a great job and want you to be successful so I still can play SL ten years from now.

Ok now that I have you all buttered up and I can't place limit buy orders anymore anyway how about letting me transfer $2000 from my PayPal account tomorrow and LL can just hold the money until my 45 day probation is up. While your at it what do I need to do to establish what Patsy Linden calls a "more established billing relationship"?
